Upcoming Youth Group Events:

Youth Group Peapod Project
Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching, and you know what that means? That’s right – the Youth Group Peapod Project. Look for the big green bottle – the Youth Group will be gathering donations at our kiosk in the Narthex on Sundays 11/8, 11/15, and 11/22. Then, on 11/22, we will be going to Jewel to shop. This year, we will not only be shopping for the CEDA Food Pantry, but also for the specific families that our church sponsors.

YIPS - Youth of Incarnation Pet Shop
At the same time as the Peapod donations, the Youth Group will also be collecting any new, or like-new, stuffed animals that you would like to donate to YIPS (Youth of Incarnation Pet Shop). These stuffed animals will be given as Christmas gifts to our church-sponsored families, to the Tree of Life Ministry in North Dakota, and to PHD (Preservation of Human Dignity) in Palatine. We would like to distribute these animals in enough time for Christmas, so we are asking that you make your donations as soon as possible. If you don’t happen to have any new, or like-new, stuffed animals, we will gladly accept cash donations and then we will do the shopping for you.

Youth Group’s Annual Christmas Trip
This year’s annual Christmas Trip to Chicago is scheduled for Saturday, December 19. Plan to come with us. We have soooo much fun!!!

Who are you on Facebook?
Shane: Intro to FYS Facebook. Break out into CREW and FYS: discuss online issues.
This will be held at the Christian Church of Arlington Heights with snacks and drinks.

Tuesday, November 10:
LIVE IT!
This will be held at Ms. Pat’s house from 6:00 – 7:30PM

Friday, November 13- Sunday, November 15th:
Retreat at Salvation Army Camp Wonderland
Leave Congregational UCC at 6:00 PM Friday and return to Congregational UCC at noon on Sunday. Details to follow.

Sunday, November 22:
A Night in Bethlehem Work Meeting
This will be held at the Congregational UCC.
Jenny, Janet and Pat will provide training. Mark will hang out with kids not involved in the Night in Bethlehem. St. John: Snacks and drinks.

Wednesday, November 25:
Turkey Bowl Football and Game Night!
This will be held at the Church of the Incarnation Methodist from 3:00 PM - ? Danny in charge! All: bring snacks and pop: Chili will be provided.
